The Youth of SMAA write and sing to Welcome Father Charles

What’s going on

Friday October 14 & Saturday October 15

Come and help bake cookies for the Kairos weekend.  The Kairos volunteers will take our cookies and prayers to the prisoners next weekend.  This weekend, we will work with Kairos volunteers and others to make the cookies.

What we do

The young people take an active roll in the church life and worship.  Whether serving as Acolytes, Lay Readers, Nursery helpers, RSCM musicians, or in one of the many outreach programs at St. Michael & All Angels’ Church, we are an integral part of our church life.

Traditionally, Youth participate in the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper.  This year, we were the planners, cooks, and servers.

The Water Project was a long term effort by the youth to make the parish aware of the dangers of poor water quality and water shortages in developing countries and in our own backyards.  We made and painted Rain Barrels, which we auctioned to raise money for The Water Project, an international organization that builds wells where they are needed.
